Today, we're going into more depth about what's coming to San Antonio this Spring and into 2023. Here's our guide to everything new and coming up in the Alamo City, from thrilling rides to magical experiences.
MAGICAL EXPERIENCES
The San Antonio Botanical Garden will present giant living sculptures that have previously only been seen in Atlanta.
A whimsical sculpture is created by Mosaicultures Internationales de Montreal. In the garden's 38 acres, guests will find 8 magnificent installations. An enormous dragon will stand 20 feet tall near the Lucile Halsell Conservatory, a mermaid will lounging nearby, and a peacock will fly in the Rose Garden. The magical works of art are made of steel forms submerged in soil, covered in moss, and planted with thousands of carefully cultivated plants. May 6, 2023, is the official opening date of the exhibit.
The HIDDEN WONDERS of the Natural Bridge Caverns
With the Hidden Wonders Tour, Natural Bridge Caverns will offer state-of-the-art lighting, a sound and light show, and expansion into areas of the cave never before explored. Additionally, guests will be able to tour an area that was previously only accessible to cavers, thanks to an expansion of the public passageways through the cave of 1010 feet.
AN ADVENTURE ON THE DINOSAFARI WALKTHROUGH
A visit to the Shops at Rivercenter's Dinosaur Experience shows how dinosaurs evolved over time. There are hands-on challenges for visitors to solve, as well as depictions of the natural elements that existed during this time, such as earthquakes. Virtual reality technology, spectacular installations, and interactive activities for children are all part of the thrilling adventure. Until September, you can see the exhibit.
LOS TROMPOS EXPERIENCE
Visit The Shops at La Cantera for the Los Trompos Experience from March 11 through April 9, 2023. This immersive art installation doubles as a spinning top and is perfect for both kids and adults. Weaved colorful panels in the traditional style of Mexican artisans make these vibrant art pieces perfect for spinning, playing, relaxing and more!
THRILLING NEW ADDITIONS
A launched flume coaster will open at SeaWorld San Antonio this summer, along with North America's only vertical lift. Water adventure Catapult Falls drops visitors over a real-looking waterfall and into rapids, making it a thrilling family activity.

It will be Six Flags Fiesta Texas' second steepest dive coaster, following Dr. Diabolicals Cliffhanger.
NEW RESTAURANTS AT HEMISFAIR
At Hemisfair this year, visitors can look forward to new restaurants. At the moment, 21 historic structures in the park are being restored to offer more food and beverage options to park guests.
